Horizontal Distribution of Cadmium in Urban Constructed Wetlands: A Case Study

Here, we used a radioactive distribution approach for water samples from the Liu Shao Yan constructed wetland to investigate horizontal advection of cadmium (Cd) in this urban wetland. However, predictions GA–BPANN algorithm indicated 13–25% loading efficiently removed by wetland, which mainly resulted sediment sorption, bacterial uptake, dilution caused advection. Consequently, conclude wetlands are environmentally friendly cost-effective technology can remove certain extent.
